To design and build a compact and cost effective variclave system control solution.Some of the criteria set for the design were that it must have a mutilingual interface with data presentation,data backup ability and muliple power sources.

Action:

The use of a logix compact controller in conjuction with a versa view touchscreen and VSudio 2005 allowed for a compact and cost effective solution. Data backup was handled by SQL Express and a mulitap transformer and a UPS was utilized for multiple power sources.

Outcome:

The design has produced a compact footprint with an intuitive multilingual interface that can produce internet ready IIS SO reports.
